It’s not often you become a “raving fan” of a company on the Internet. And it’s even less often you find a hosting company that you’re willing to recommend to others. I’m happy to report that I finally found one.
I have been using LiveHost for several months and they have been great. I first heard of LiveHost from somone in a forum. I then did my due diligence on them by reading all the reviews and recommendations I could find around the Internet. (Hosting is too important to take lightly, in my opinion.) In the end, I decided to try them after all my findings were favorable.
My good experience started with the sign-up process. Clean, straightforward, hassle free, no problems. As expected, I soon received an email from “Thomas” that my Reseller Gold plan had been set up. I then proceeded to access my WHM panel and create my accounts.
I did encounter one small problem however. When I tried to access my AWSTATS the first time, I received an error message. This same thing occurred on all the accounts I had created in WHM. I immediately submitted a trouble ticket using the LiveHost help desk.
In a very short time, “Thomas” fixed the AWSTATS problem and replied to my email with an apology and an explanation. He was courteous and professional and didn’t try to make excuses. I was very satisfied with the result.
Earlier this week, I received an email from LiveHost regarding an award they recently won. The award (Webhost Magazine Editor’s Choice Award) just solidified my own feeling about LiveHost and their service. Here’s what the magazine had to say:

July 2007 Update – I am no longer using LiveHost. In general, they still are pretty good but I ended up cancelling the service beacause:
1. I wanted to consolidate some of my hosting and reduce expenses.
2. They kept having issue with Cron jobs not running, which isn’t good for BlogSolution blogs.
