They would seem to be a team anywhere, the saddles and horse blankets. Western saddles and horse blankets are a necessary couple. Not all saddles require the use of a horse blanket. Indeed, there is also padding which could eliminate the need for the horse blanket under a saddle.

Now that Brenda Imus has broken her ties with Circle Y and Circle Y is selling a gaited horse saddle that looks and sounds like BI’s saddles. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE??? Is one better than the other? Please someone tell me the difference!

Thanks for stopping by. I was not aware Brenda and Circle Y had broken ties. But after reading your comment, I posted in one of the saddle forums to get an answer to your question. here is the reply I received:
“…..but the long and short of it is that the 4 beat saddle is no longer produced by Circle Y. See the GOG home page for lots of info on the new saddle company. I have seen the saddle you are referring to, and while Brenda has not commented on this specific saddle, she maintains that there isn’t a saddle on the market that achieves what the 4-beat does. I think in a recent post she said something like the imitations of her saddles were a far cry from the real deal.”
