I've personally reviewed some of the new material and I have to say that so far, it's right on. If you're not a member of the James Martell fan club yet, click here to j0in in the fun. |

My 2 Cents
First of all, the 'course' isn't cheap - $167 (as of this writing). I bought it in 2002 and hoped like heck that it was worth the money and that I truly was getting a definitive, comprehensive course on creating and marketing affiliate websites.
Was I disappointed? No, not at all. The ebook has pages and pages of useful step-by-step information. Plus, Martell's writing style is enjoyable.
But have I made money with this course? No, not really. I've made a little ($50, maybe) but I haven't made my money back yet.
Do I regret my buying decision? No, not for a minute because I learned a hell of a lot about affiliate marketing from the book. And I truly believe that a person can make money the Martell way if they follow 'the plan'.
This Is Not A Get Rich Quick Course!
To make it work successfully, you need to dedicate time to each site you create. The time is mostly spent on creating content. That's right, you're hearing it again - CONTENT IS KING. So don't fight it or pretend you don't need to do it.
The reason it hasn't worked for me yet is that I haven't spent enough time on it. Here is one of my first 'Martell inspired' sites: Cheap Contact Lens
Now compare my site to one of Martell's: 1st In Babies
As you can see, Martell's site has pages and pages of content compared to mine. And if you go to Google and type "baby products" (no quotes), you will see Martell's site listed on the first page.
His methods obviously work. And if you have the time and resources to develop useful content, you should be able to duplicate Martell's success.
Overall, I give Affiliate Marketers Handbook a rating of 4 out of 5 knuckleheads based on the proven methods and techniques it offers.
Positives:
- It works if you follow the instructions. (And find a profitable set
of keywords)
- Detailed step-by-step instruction.
- Martell uses these methods himself and you can find plenty of his affiliate
sites to prove it.
Negatives:
- Price
